About us
NEOCARBON carries out climate change mitigation actions by joining the greenhouse gas producing sectors (Industry, Events, Transport, Construction) to the carbon sequestration sectors (Ecoentrepreneurs). At the same time, it develops low-carbon economy actions in the various spheres in which it operates.
The economic resources that make NEOCARBON's actions viable come from companies, organizations, services and people that want to offset carbon emissions. With these resources, we promote the social and economic development of landowners with Atlantic Forest, Amazon and Cerrado vegetation or with permanent preservation areas through the payment for environmental service mechanism.
Currently, NEOCARBON operates in all Brazilian biomes, and thus the greenhouse gas emissions generated in each region can be offset in rural properties in the region. Thus, everything that is emitted is sequestered by the vegetation of the municipality itself.
Our mission is to collaborate with the neutralization and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by 2025, and restore a large part of the permanent preservation areas called Mata Ciliar, in addition to maintaining the areas of native vegetation.
